Today I am doing some very hard things that most of us rarely think about doing. Things like picking out flowers for a funeral and designing your own grave marker. I pray today’s thoughts encourage you. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Karen passed peacefully last night not long after I posted yesterday’s update. The sun came up this morning and I made my bed. That may not mean a lot to you, but on this episode I explain why it means a lot to me.

God has given us more time with Karen and we are keeping her comfortable as her journey comes to an end. God’s timing is not our timing. We continue to sense your prayers and God’s presence.

Karen remains comfortable and with us. We are waiting on God’s timing and overwhelmed by the outpouring of love we have received.

Today is a new day. God’s mercies are new every morning. What does that even mean?
