A Story Worth Telling PT1 EP27
Part 1 of a 2 part recording with the amazing Naresh Kumar. Naresh was born in a very poor area of India and fought to get a scholarship to university. After graduation he came to the United States for a high profile Silicon Valley career. It was in the States that Naresh found ultrarunning. Becoming friends with Lazarus Lake (of Barkley Fame) and show favorite Steve Durbin, Naresh started doing the “crazy”races like Vol State and Barkleys. However after an incident in Nepal, Naresh found a calling. He quit his position, followed his dream to move to Middle Earth and devoted his life to kindness, and raising funds for worthy causes. His last adventure was riding a tandem bike across New Zealand to combat human sex trafficking. Freedom Seat We were honored that Naresh came on the show to share a few stories from the road with us.
