Author, Anna Olswanger, and writer/director, Tom Whitus join host Alan Eisenberg to talk about the book and movie version of “Greenhorn”, the story of youth concentration camp survival from the Holocaust, bullying, and rising above the hardships we experience of C-PTSD as youth.
Anna Olswanger is the author of Greenhorn and Shlemiel Crooks, a Sydney Taylor Honor Book and PJ Library Book. She has been a literary agent since 2005 and lives in the metro NYC area. Visit her at www.olswanger.com.
Tom Whitus is a writer, producer and director from Louisville, Kentucky. Over the past 20 years, he has made a dozen feature films and three short films – one of which is the award winning “Greenhorn,” which he directed and co-produced with Anna Olswanger.
