Grace is on the Case
The Unsolved Disappearance and Homicide of Amber Tuccaro
In this episode, Grace dives into the unsolved disappearance and homicide of Amber Tuccaro, a 20-year-old Mikisew Cree First Nations woman from Fort McMurray, Canada. Despite authorities having a 17-minute long recording of a phone call where the prime suspect can be heard talking to Amber, the case remains unsolved 14 years later. Many attribute the case going cold to numerous missteps and gross negligence on the part of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who were later found to have completed a “deficient” investigation that “did not follow RCMP policy, procedure, and guidelines” by an independent federal review. Amber’s case is still open and ongoing, and her loved ones hope that one day justice will be served for her.
