This week’s episode presents part 1 of an interview with a fellow gnostic, John Munter. John is among the first people to read A Simple Explanation of the Gnostic Gospel of the Tripartite Tractate–he contributed an “advanced praise” blurb for the front of the book.

John shares his early background as a philosopher and divinity school graduate. He then tells a story of his relationship with a friend that transcends her physical death.

In this episode, John tells us about his unique method of interpreting the Gospel of Thomas. We will continue that train of thought next week.
