Nowhere has technology made a bigger impact than the healthcare industry. And as technology evolves, patients’ relationships with that technology changes, too. These days, people are walking around with all kinds of connected devices tracking everything from heart rate to activity levels. A&D Medical has established itself as a manufacturer of non-connected health tracking devices. Now, the company is moving forward with the introduction of connected products.

Jamie met with Terry Duesterhoeft, CEO of A&D Medical. Terry talked about a study conducted by his company that showed a surprising number of patients are ready to use connected devices that gather their health information and relay that information to caregivers and other healthcare workers. Terry and Jamie also talked about privacy concerns, and what A&D is doing to ensure its customers can use their devices in a secure fashion.
