The Quest Call out to ABC:  ABC do it

So the big revelation (or perhaps just a reiteration for the vastly confused) is finally upon us:  DM is a fan of ABC’s The Quest.

The emails have flowed, the tweets have floated, the Facebook posts have all asked, is DM a Quest fan or not?

Now DM goes on record in a definitive plea to ABC “I am a fan of the Quest” he states.  In a direct challenge to ABC execs and producers alike, DM throws the gauntlet down and says “Give me an excuse to watch your advertisements, Give me an excuse to never change the channel“.

If that doesn’t state it clearly that DM is a Quest fan, nothing will.

All jokes aside, ABC’s the Quest is the among the best geek shows that have run on TV in a long time.

The contestants are good, honest, and real people, who all took the challenge of reality TV with a vigor, and a camaraderie that is not only welcome, it has set the stage for possible co-op reality TV shows in the future.  Rather than each contestant tearing each other apart, or cliques forming, the Quest kept the ideals that all the paladins were in it together, and no matter what, they were all striving for the same thing:  To save Everealm from the darkness falling upon it.

What else did the geeks talk about besides the Quest Fan reiteration?

Stemming from the Marvel vs DC conversation, the geeks take up the topic of independent/Non-DC and Non-Marvel comics.  Which do they like best and what movies and other media spawned off from those comics?

MonkeyDave (Apparently the #2 fan behind Debbie the #1 fan) joins the geeks on the live line to add in his thought and machinations about the subject.
