Marvel vs DC the debate geek-rages on!

September 24, 2014

The age old debate, Marvel vs DC…… it will not be settled here today, but it will be amusing none the less!  Listen here and see what’s coming up next week!

The geeks decided to take on the Marvel vs DC subject with their own unique way of looking at things.  The biggest surprise of all???? ONE MIND IS CHANGED!  Who you might ask?  Listen and find out.

In this framed debate, looking at several angles of the Marvel vs DC line in the sand, the geeks do not only discuss heroes or villains, they discuss writing, timelines and overall stories.

At the 31 minute mark the geeks are joined by a listener and fan, MonkeyDave and he takes his own decided stance on the topic throwing his weight behind one side and tilting the scales.  Will the outnumbered geeks be able to tilt the scales back to middle or will their be a lopsided victory for one side or the other with a single hold-out?

What else did they talk about besides Marvel vs DC?

When the geeks come back from commercial at the 53:50 the geeks wrap up the discussion and the big reveal happens.  From there, they go on to gaming news and talk about the new Fox TV series, Gotham and some of the things we can look forward to coming up in that show.  It looks like it could be a real good one if the first episode is any indication.  We hope to hear a lot more about Gotham in the near future, there is even a quick reference back to ABC’s The Quest during the discussion, can you spot it?

What’s coming up next week?

Next week the geeks will take on the topic of “Which ending would you re-write?”.  What movie, TV Show, book, comic book ending was either so disjointed or so bad or so altering that you would re-write it?

Join us next week on Tuesday night at 8:00 PM PST live on FCCFREEradio to listen in, just visit our Listen Live link at the top of the page!
