Though the Central Electoral Commission in Bosnia and Herzegovina recently announced that the local elections would be held on October 4, 2020 as scheduled, the certainty of that actually happening remains in question.  In my recent conversation with Mirsad Hadzikadic he explained there are some key issues that are currently delaying the required processes leading up to the elections from occurring.  A delay, Hadzikadic says, which is being welcomed by the ruling parties.
