The Platform for Progress is now working at a feverish pace as it addresses logistical issues for the upcoming local elections and strategies to address those issues.  During a recent meeting of the presidential board four key issues were identified.  Selecting members of the electoral board who will have a physical presence and assist in monitoring and counting of the votes at many of the polling areas throughout the country; the best messaging moving forward to be shared with the people and the media; vetting and helping in the selection of the candidates to run for mayorships, council seats, etc.; and, of course, funding.
