Mama, if you’re tired, you’re in good company. Sleep struggles are so common among mamas. If it’s not newborns keeping us up, it’s sick kids or toddlers having trouble sleeping and then, waiting for teenagers to get home. Sleep is linked to our hormones and so many moms experience insomnia after the huge hormonal changes women experience in pregnancy and as we grow older. You are not alone and there is hope!

We surveyed moms to ask what is helping them sleep. Here were their tips:

  • Sunshine and exercise
  • Limit caffeine
  • Limit screens at night
  • Meditation/Sleep Apps
  • Read
  • Pray
  • Supplements

And don’t forget to go to God with this! Ask him for help and claim these truths:

  • Proverbs 3:24: If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
  • Psalm 4:8: In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
