Marriage is an incredible blessing but that doesn’t mean it’s easy and adding kids to the mix can mean new challenges. One of the things we hear a lot from our moms is that they are struggling with the division of labor at home. We can feel bitter and discontent when we feel like our spouse doesn’t see how much we’re managing. The mental load and decision fatigue are very real and can lead to unhappiness in our relationship with our partner.

Our marriages are worth the work! Worth the work to communicate, set aside time for each other on the calendar, and even get professional help. Moms, let’s go first in loving our husbands well. Consider how you can encourage your husband and communicate to him how much you love him this week.
