To honour Black History Month 2020, I interview Mike Killen, founder of Sell Your Service, a company that was started to motivate funnel builders to increase their prices, define a niche and sell marketing funnels for five figures +.

After the Black Lives Matter protests and the ever increasing media coverage on this issue, I wanted to start a conversation around the topic of race. Mike’s interview is eye opening and informative. Often, we are unsure as to how to refer to this issue so we say nothing. I believe conversation is the answer to progress, improvement and positive change.

Mike talks of his experience of living in a small Cornish village, where his skin colour stood out, which made his anger lash out! We discuss skin colour from the perspective of a mixed race man. We talk about the scale of racism, how it is endemic in companies and our culture and his experiences of navigating the world.

Mike is a skilled communicator and I can’t thank him enough for this inspiring episode.
