The Wythe Hotel first opened its doors in 2012 and has since helped transform the Williamsburg neighborhood. While many saw it as a risk, Peter Lawrence, one of the Wythe's founders and owners, noticed that Brooklyn was beginning to gain a world class reputation with a unique culture and vibrant energy worthy of a boutique hotel. Along with Lawrence’s business partners, restauranteur Andrew Tarlow and property developer Jed Walentas, the Wythe Hotel's vision has always been to provide a place that celebrates and encourages Brooklyn’s creative momentum while preserving its industrial charm. From the hotel’s architectural elements to its décor and staff, nearly everything at the Wythe Hotel is sourced from the Brooklyn community.
