The Friends of Israel Today
AUGUST 13, 2016 | #1633—Judges: Not to the Strong, Part 1
This week on The Friends of Israel Today, we begin a mini-series on the Old Testament book of Judges. After the time of Moses and Joshua, Israel found themselves without a leader and did what they thought was right in their own eyes. However, there was a cycle of deliverers or judges that He used greatly between the time of Joshua and the time Israel would have a king and we’ll focus on these two judges today. As always, we’ll wrap up the program with Apples of Gold, a dramatic reading from the life of Holocaust survivor Zvi Kalisher.
