According to the South Carolina Department of Mental Health it is estimated that 8 million Americans (seven million women and one million men) suffer with an eating disorder. This life threatening disorder plagues 10-15% of Americans. An estimated 10-15 % of those suffering from Anorexia and Bulima are Males.
