Exploring India’s Rich Mythology Through Fantasy with Sudha Kuruganti on the Books and Authors Podcast
This is the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast Episode 174 with Sudha Kuruganti.
Good day and welcome to this episode of the Books and Authors Fantasy and Sci-Fi Podcast. I’m your host, podcaster and author of Fun Fantasy Reads, Jamie Davis. This podcast is exactly what the title says it is, a show focused on everything in fantasy books.
This show will cover everything to do with fantasy books. From Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, and everything in between, expect to find the best and brightest authors from all the various corners of the fantasy book world. Plus we’ll add in a few other very special guests as well along the way.
Let’s jump in with my writing update this week. I’m having a lot of fun writing the N’SPACE humorous sci-fi space opera serial. It has been making me chuckle to myself as I run the characters through their antics to solve their various challenges. It will be released exclusively to the Kindle Vella platform that will be launching later this summer. I’ll have more on that soon as well as how you can get access and read these fun stories.
You can check out more information on what I’m up to, including sneak peeks of upcoming covers, special giveaways, and more, by visiting my fan group on Facebook, Jamie’s Fun Fantasy Readers and over at my website and blog, JamieDavisBooks.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
Joining us today is author Sudha Kuruganti. Sudha writes fantasy inspired by Indian mythology. She loves books, anime, coffee, chocolate, manga, Beatles music, and dogs—not necessarily in that order.
Her work includes a clean paranormal romance series, the Elementals of India, and the Legend Valley Academy trilogy, a diverse fantasy tale of screwups and second chances, and finding your place in the world.
When she’s not writing, Sudha is usually nose deep in a book, experimenting with strange online recipes on her Air Force officer husband, or playing with their young son.
She’s also one of the amazing authors in the just released Urban Fantasy short story anthology, Summer Solstice Shenanigans..
I interviewed her all the way from India and there’s a little background noise in the recording but the interview itself is great so I hope you’ll enjoy my interview with Sudha coming up next.
