July and August rainfall was evenly undistributed in Missouri. Some parts of southern Missouri got more than they needed, while parts of the Show-Me State were left high-and-dry. Today’s guest is Pat Guinan, climatologist for University of Missouri Extension Commercial Agriculture Program.  He discusses a Canadian low pressure system and a southwest U.S. high pressure system that have sandwiched Missouri in the middle. The result: diverse weather patterns from north to south.
