Episode 1: Pot-Tarts

In our first full episode, we explore the dangers of marijuana ingestion in kids. With several states legalizing marijuana for recreational use, we are likely to see a lot more of this in our EDs. Emergency Physicians, Dr. John Richards and Dr. Aimee Moulin, take us through their recent systematic review of unintentional cannabis ingestion in children. Medical Toxicologist, Dr. Daniel Colby, revisits an interesting case and leaves us with some pearls for identifying and managing potential marijuana ingestion.

Hosts:

Dr. Julia Magana, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UC Davis - Pediatric Emergency Medicine
