Growing up in Illinois and South Carolina, Jonathan earned a B.S. in Biology from Winthrop University and an M.S. in Environmental Resource Management from Florida Tech. His career spans environmental science and pharmaceutical chemistry, coupled with 22 years of service in the Army Reserve.

As the Environmental Section Supervisor for Brevard Mosquito Control District, Jonathan oversees mosquito surveillance, regulatory compliance, arbovirus monitoring, and the management of 28,000 acres of mosquito impoundments.
