Jon, a native of Illinois, holds a degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He began his career in conservation education as an intern at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, eventually becoming a tour guide there. Jon has since returned to Chicago, where he has worked as an educator at various local zoos and is currently the Training and Facilitation Specialist at the Field Museum.

Jon shares his journey and experiences in conservation education, offering enlightening insights into his career path. In his spare time, Jon maintains the popular Instagram/Twitter (X) account @_crocodiles. This episode concludes with some exciting trivia that Jon brought along.
