Heavenly Father, we come to you in thanks and praise. As we approach Christmas, we celebrate your birth with gratefulness and thankfulness. We pray that everyone has joy during this season, no matter what they face or have faced, knowing that the ultimate sacrifice you did for us will allow us eternal peace with you. You tell us not to lean on our understanding, and I pray that you fill us with the strength, knowledge, and love to bring peace and goodwill to others no matter what time or season we are in.  Amen
