Bonding Thru Books Festival, a totally online literary event, was created to start a national conversation about what we want our literary legacy to be FEATURED AUTHOR AND SPEAKER PAMELA SAMUELS YOUNG is a practicing attorney whose fast-paced legal thrillers tackle law and crime. Recognized for her savvy female characters, Pamela brings a taste of diversity to the legal fiction genre. Her novels include Anybody's Daughter, Attorney-Client Privilege, Murder on the Down Low. A natural hair enthusiast, she is the author of Kinky Coily: A Natural Hair Resource Guide. MEET D'LITA MILLER D'Lita Miller is no stranger to child sex trafficking. As a child victim herself, she understands the trauma that victims suffer as a result of trafficking. For the past 7 years D'Lita has devoted her life to the rescue and restoration of sex trafficking victims. Ms. Miller is a single mother of five, and has a daughter who was a victim of child sex trafficking, as a result of the trafficking of her daughter; D'Lita has teamed up with several organizations to end human trafficking. D'Lita has worked with anti-human trafficking organizations such as, Saving Innocence, Runaway Girl FPC, Forgotten Children, Gems Uncovered and the Mary Magdalene Project. D'Lita is now the Southern California Program Director for an anti human trafficking organization named CAS Research & Education, which is the extended arm of California Against Slavery (Prop 35).
