Faye De Lanty - Fashion Hound

Faye De Lanty has spent the last two decades on Australian television – half of which was with Network Tens long running environmental kids show TOTALLY WILD.

Faye has always had a connection to an eco conscious mindset and a thing for fashion, so she wanted to find a way to work with the two and make a difference.

Despite being a keen thrift shopper for years, her blog Fashion Hound was born out of complete necessity. While living in NYC and London and going to countless meetings, interviews and auditions Faye had to look sharp but couldn’t afford to spend too much. So she amped up the thrift ensembles and people took notice.

Fast forward a year and Channel 9 mornings asked her to join the team as their resident eco warrior, so now Faye shows Australia how to save money and the planet by making more conscious fashion choices - Thrift Shop fashion parades, celebrity looks for less, DIY and designer vintage for a steal.

For 2014 Faye has an alliance with the Salvos and together they are planning lots of exciting eco fashion initiatives, there is even a thrift clothing
collection in the works.

She has also just joined the Daily Telegraphs INDULGE magazine as an eco fashion contributor.

Just goes to show you fashion doesn’t have to cost the earth, Literally.
