Author, broadcaster, and 23 year veteran of the IT industry, David sees technology from a 360 degree viewpoint, having been at various times a business owner, customer, software vendor, project manager and IT consultant. He's worked across many industries from Hotel Management, to manufacturing, distribution and professional services management.

David helps the owners and managers of Small Businesses to make and implement smarter technology decisions in their business.

Frequently, his clients come to him faced with a conundrum: Their IT guy, their Software vendor, their hosting partner and so on - are all offering plausible but differing points of view about 'what they should do" - but the client is unclear about who and what he should believe. That's where he steps in.. His neutrality ensures that he sit on the client's side of the table and offers advocacy to help them make and implement smart decisions without necessarily dumping any of their current suppliers.

Today’s Small Biz operator has a tricky new problem. Often, they're required to manage between 6 & 10 different technology vendors. Their collective advice is often conflicting, almost always confusing, shrouded in jargon, and without doubt, slanted in THEIR favour. David provides a part-time CIO service for business owners who have growth on their mind and face IT challenges with project delivery
