SHANE RIDLEY

As a Strategist and Leader Shane is the driving force behind the OTrain vision. He makes it happen. He's also chief marketing and sales spokesperson!

A retired Recruiter and Staffing Strategist, Shane has more than 10 years experience in Strategic Planning and implementation of Staffing Strategies, including training. A confessed serial Entrepreneur, OTrain is Shanes third business.  He's also the most computer "illiterate" person on our team.

Shane programming and coding experience is limited to just three weeks he spent in high school learning the programming language, basic. The result - He managed to move the cursor across the screen and back again.  This means our software really does need to be Intuitively simple. We've got to make is simple enough for Shane to use. Thankfully, he has strengths in other areas.

Shane is a member of the global Entrepreneurs Organisation and has served two terms on the Brisbane Chapter board. He is currently studying an Entrepreneurs Masters Program at MIT, in Boston, USA. A keen cyclist (both Road and Cross Country Mountain bike), when Shane's not in the office or on a bike, he's often indulging in his other hobby with his family and friends -Waterskiing.

EMMA PETROULAS

She lectures in Small Business Accounting at the University of Technology Sydney, in the areas of small business set-up, record keeping and compliance and forecasting. Her research has been published in Dynamic Business Magazine, the Australian Accounting Review and presented at conferences worldwide. She also sits on the YAdvisory panel for SME Australia. Emma began working in the accounting profession almost ten years ago, and her most recent experience was with Big 4 accounting firm, KPMG.

The excitement Emma brings to nudge comes from her passion for small businesses – one she developed from a young age at her mother’s local chemist shop.
