Lee SafarLee Safar - The Music Spring

The Music Spring is an exciting, forward thinking, progressive conspiracy! A conspiracy from within the music industry to demystify how successful music business is being done by everyday artists and music industry professionals all over the world.

At the core of this conspiracy…integrity!

It’s no secret that the traditional music model is long gone. Our job now is to identify what’s actually working, what isn’t and what needs to change to create the next generation of successful artists and music entrepreneurs. The Music Spring is here to have that conversation…live, online, weekly and free.

Each week, an ever changing panel hosted by Australian independent artist Lee Safar, will discuss relevant topics to help unravel the puzzle. In the first season, these topics will include ‘The Value Of Music’, ‘Revenue Streams’, ‘The Music Industry Model’, ‘The Players In The Game’, ‘Creating a #1 Hitâ€, ‘The Label Debate’ and much more. Think SxSW type panels, that happen every week live from each panelists’ home/office/tour bus/dressing room around the world.

We have the conversation via a Google Hangout and broadcast it live through YouTube for you to watch and interact with via Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. You can also checkout the show later as a video or audio podcast if you can’t watch live.

The panelists change weekly and are selected based on their experience from within the industry, and the integrity with which they execute their business and careers.

We’re working hard to bring together guests who can present different opinions on a given topic. They’ll discuss what’s working for them, what’s not working, and what they’re trying to change in order to be more successful at what they do.

The show will cater to both independent and label artists as well as the professionals who support those artists. The conversations will cover a wide spectrum of genre’s and markets.
