20131022 - The Hoopla Radio Hour with Benison O'Reilly, Mrs Woog and Beth MacDonald

October 22, 2013

Benison O’Reilly has uni degrees in pharmacy and commerce and has worked as a medical writer. She lives with her husband, three sons and a menagerie of small animals in a noisy, testosterone-filled Federation house in the inner-west of Sydney.

The youngest of her boys, Joe, is on the autism spectrum, and the inspiration behind her first book, the Australian Autism Handbook, which she co-wrote with the Seana Smith. A new edition of this bestselling book, with new co-author, Kathryn Wicks, was released in April 2013.

Mrs Woog can be found in the laundry, folding laundry, sorting laundry and dropping off the dry cleaning. She is a mum to two boys, boss of her husband and master of a cat and two guinea pigs.

Come nightfall, she watches TV while tweeting which drives Mr Woog insane. She likes to read cookbooks and eat out.

During her waking hours she ferries kids around in the Mazda while drinking takeaway coffees and listening to talkback. She used to work in the publishing industry before she realised it was nothing like Elaine from Seinfeld made out like it was. Now she writes this blog.

Beth MacDonald
is Beth, just Beth. She believes in family. Good friends. Pork. Champagne. Long lunches. Sleeping without being woken by small children. Clean sheet day. Fresh flowers in her home. Open fires and sitting by them with drink in hand. Using her passport. Love, real proper, heart thumping love with her husband. Bad reality TV. The internet. Cooking. Eating. Changing her hairstyle. Often. She believes in reading, writing, watching and sharing. And putting it ALL out there.
