Melinda has been nominated three times for the Australian Sports Commission Media Awards and has won several cricket media awards.

My experience has given me excellent contacts and relationships, particularly in sports such as rugby league and cricket.

This has led to roles as the Women in League ambassador for the Cronulla Sharks and ambassador for the McGrath Foundation.

Paul Cochrane

A sports tragic by his own admission, Paul learnt to read through a diet of back page newspaper leads and cover to cover scanning of cricket magazines in his grandfather’s local corner store in regional Queensland.

That inevitably launched a diversion in plan from dreams of wearing the baggy green as a promising junior cricketer to following the men handed them with notepad and microphone in hand.

After starting his career in newspapers, Paul moved to television with the Seven Network in Queensland and Nine News in Perth before landing a senior role with Ten’s Sports Tonight in Sydney. He became a familiar face around grounds, fields, courts, tracks and pooldecks, reporting on games, finals, tournaments, regattas, meets, races and contests.
