Anna Garcia - Destined 2 Shine (Publishing)

Anna Garcia was your average mother anticipating the miraculous experience of motherhood, only to discover it was something close to a nightmare a midst screaming, sleepless nights, food wars and tantrums.

At the time, she could not find any parenting books on the market that shared this reality and felt there was a gap in the market. For this reason, Anna set out on a journey to self-publish a tongue-in-cheek book about the journey of two clueless parents, raising a diva daughter that believed she was Rihanna.

Anna is the author, illustrator and publisher of the unconventional book, ‘Put the Baby Back in my Tummy: When Parenthood is Not Quite as Expected’. By sharing her not-so-perfect journey accompanied with illustrations, Anna hopes to help parents through their own tumultuous parenting journey (www.putthebabyback.com).

Anna also uses life coaching strategies to empower parents to rise above the drama of parenting, encouraging them to enjoy and embrace the epic adventure.

A major turning point in Anna’s life was when she started studying life coaching in 2011. It was then that she decided to turn her greatest parenting challenges into her greatest success. She has a strong belief that any setback is a blessing in disguise and in 2012, started her own life coaching business www.valuelifecoaching.com working with clients around the world.

Anna has qualifications in Visual Arts and Design, as well as Secondary Education and has previously worked as a Visual Arts Teacher. She has also spent years doing missionary work.  Anna’s ultimate goal is to inspire people to rise beyond fear and do what they are passionate about so they have no regrets at the end of their life.

Jamie Lee is the founder of ‘Kids at Switch’ , an educational program that looks to foster entrepreneurial traits and financial literacy in kids.
