Depending on who you listen to, Sarrah Le Marquand is either a “bleeding heart inner-city feminazi†or a “redneck from the hate mediaâ€.
Armed with an honours degree and a federal parliamentary internship (not to mention hundreds of hours constructively spent watching The Bold and the Beautiful), she left university determined to pursue a career in journalism. In the years that followed she was employed as a magazine entertainment reporter, a film critic on breakfast TV and a newspaper senior writer and features chief of staff before being appointed features editor of The Daily Telegraph.
After returning from maternity leave after the birth of her first child in 2009 she began writing a weekly column for The Daily Telegraph which covers everything from politics to pop culture to parenthood.Sarrah also pens a weekly column for Sunday Style magazine and appears regularly on television and radio as a media commentator.
She lives in Sydney with her husband and two young sons.
