Jane Caro has a multitude of talents, spreading her energy across many projects including being an author, novelist, lecturer for the University of Western Sydney, mentor, social commentator, columnist, workshop facilitator, speaker, broadcaster and award winning advertiser, just to name a few. Jane is the only woman to have been awarded the chair of judges (Australasian Writers and Art Directors Association) and both the Adelaide and Brisbane Art Directors Award. She is a weekly regular on Channel 7 Weekend Sunrise and Mornings on Channel 9, and has appeared frequently on ABC’s Q&A, The Project, The Drum and Playbox. Jane is also a regular panellist on the ABC’s top-rating show on advertising “The Gruen Transfer.â€Â Jane has published four successful books, “The Stupid Country: How Australia is Dismantling Public Education,†“The F Word. How we Learned to Swear by Feminism,†“Just a Girl,†and “What Makes a Good School?â€Â Jane is currently releasing her fifth book “For God Sake! Antony Loewenstein - Journalist
Antony Loewenstein is an independent Australian journalist, blogger, photographer and documentarian. He is the author of two bestselling books, My Israel Question and The Blogging Revolution, co-author of For God’s Sake, co-editor of Left Turn and After Zionism. He is the author of Profits of Doom: How Vulture Capitalism is Swallowing the World. He has written for The Guardian, The Nation, Huffington Post, The Sydney Morning Herald, Haaretz and other prominent publications. Simon Smart - Centre for Public Christianity
Simon is a Director of the Centre for Public Christianity. A former English and History teacher Simon has a Masters in Christian Studies from Regent College, Canada. His writing has appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, The Drum, The Punch and ABC Religion and Ethics. He is the author of Bright Lights Dark Nights – the enduring faith of 13 remarkable Australians and was the editor of A Spectator’s Guide to World Views.
