Helen McCabe - The Australian Women’s Weekly

Helen McCabe is the editor-in-chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly. She also makes regular appearances on the Today Show, The Project, and 2GB. Helen joined AWW after 12 years in newspapers working as the Deputy Editor of The Sunday Telegraph, Night Editor of The Australian and a number of roles on The Daily Telegraph. She has also reported from London where she was the European Correspondent for News Ltd. Helenbegan her career in Adelaide television before moving to Canberra Press Gallery with the Seven Network. She is also the chairperson of the Federal Governments Positive Body Image Awards, a board member of the National Adoption Awareness Week and an ambassador of the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation .

Marina Go - Marina Go

Marina Go has 25+ years of consumer media experience. As Publishing Director at Private Media she is responsible for the P&L and strategy of the company’s media brands Crikey, Smart Company, Property Observer, Start Up Smart, Leading Company and Women’s Agenda. For the previous three years she was focused on managing and developing digital properties and related brand extensions as Publisher of The Hannan Group’s Independent Digital Media.

She began her media career as a newspaper journalist and worked in the news and features sections of The Daily Mirror for three years.

Marina was appointed editor of Dolly magazine at the age of 23. Since then she has been Managing Editor of Cosmopolitan, launch Editor of Australian Good Taste, Editor-in-chief of ELLE Australia, launch Editor of ELLE Cuisine, Editor of weekend newspaper insert magazine Sunday Life and Editor of Fashion for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newspapers.

Since 1997, Marina has held the following management positions where she had responsibility for P&L and strategy: Publisher of Independent Digital Media, Group Publisher of EMAP Australia, Publishing Director and Editor-in-chief of Pacific Publications, Associate Publisher of Fairfax Lifestyle Media and General Manager of Fairfax Newsstand Magazines.

As Publishing Director of Private Media, Marina created and launched Australia’s first media property for career-focused women, WomensAgenda.com.au.
As Publisher of Independent Digital Media, she launched a local version of America’s leading wedding website TheKnot.com.au, including a successful print brand extension.
As General Manager of Newsstand Magazines at Fairfax, she successfully negotiated for and won the licensing agreement to publish the Australian edition of America’s leading travel title, Travel & Leisure.
As Associate Publisher of Fairfax Lifestyle Media, she repositioned Fashion, Drive, Uncorked and Ski magazines within The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age news
