Christina Butcher is the hair behind Hair Romance. She met her husband and her hairdresser in the same street and that’s where her hair romance began. Christina started her blog in 2010 and turned it into a full time business within 18 months. Recently named in the Top 5 Style and Beauty Bloggers for Vogue Australia and Kidspot, she was also in the Top 50 Bloggers for Kidspot in 2012 and featured in Problogger’s Top 15 Bloggers to watch in 2013. Christina has since launched her second beauty blog, Nail Romance and a new travel and lifestyle blog, Mr & Mrs Romance with her husband Jim. She self-published four successful ebooks and her fifth book will be published in the US this year. Christinahas spoken at international conferences about the business of blogging and how to use social media to build your brand.

Lorraine Murphy is Founder and Head of Relationships at The Remarkables Group, the first dedicated blogger talent agency in Australia, which launched in May 2012 and now represents 15 leading bloggers.


Lorraine recognised a need for a coordinator of blogger and brand relationships in the Australian market and brings her background in PR and communications strategy to assist brands in reaching their target audience by partnering with some of Australia’s most influential bloggers.


She created and managed campaigns in an eight-year career that began in Dublin, moved to London and ended up in Sydney.


Lorraine is an avid trend-watcher and participant in social media who lectures in the strategic use of social media at both the University of New South Wales and Sydney University. She has won several awards, including B&T Magazine’s 30 Under 30 and Women in Media (Digital category), been named one of BRW’s Five Young Entrepreneurs to Watch and one of Dynamic Business’s “Young Guns†of 2012. She has featured frequently in media, including The Project, The Morning Show, Sydney Morning Herald and The Australian.


Lorraine has spoken at industry events including Mumbrella’s CommsCon, Problogger Training Day, Digital Parents Conference, Blogger Relations Forum and Beauty Bloggers Utopia. She leads training seminars for both bloggers and brands (including Telstra, L’Oreal, Flight Centre and Woolworths) as part of her mission to get blogger partnerships right.
