Bruce Gleeson - Jones Partners Insolvency & Business Recovery

Bruce is a Director and Principal at Jones Partners Insolvency & Business Recovery. He has over 17 years experience specialising in the field of corporate and personal insolvency and business improvement.

He is a Registered and Official Liquidator and Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy. Bruce also holds a Bachelor of Commence Degree from the University of Western Sydney, NSW and has also completed a Diploma of Financial Planning with the Financial Planning Association of Australia (“FPAâ€). Bruce is a Fellow of the ICAA and also a member of CPA Australia and the IPAA.

Bruce was on the NSW State Council of the ICAA (previously being Chairman) from 2007 to 2011. He is currently a part – time Board Member of the Company Auditors and Liquidators Disciplinary Board. Brucehas been assisting the ICAA regarding the recent Senate Enquiry and other Insolvency Reforms proposed by Federal Treasury and other State Agencies. He is presently the Chairman of the Insolvency Management Committee which is a specialist committee of the ICAA.

Bruce actively encourages business owners and individuals to seek professional assistance at the earliest time when they maybe facing insolvency or bankruptcy rather than seeking advice from their mate “at the pubâ€. This optimises the range of options available and can quite often enable an informal restructuring or turnaround solution.

Irrespective of the nature of the insolvency, re-organisation or bankruptcy matter, Bruce believes that effective communication with all parties including business owners, employees, creditors and other stakeholders not only reduces anxiety levels for those concerned, but also enables financial hardship to be appropriately dealt with.
