Anthony McGovern - Picster

I want to change the way the world shares photos.

After my major client was bought out by an over seas company, I knew it was time to change my career direction and find a new challenge. Looking at options of what I could do, I knew that this new venture had to be born out of my passions of design + photography + travel. The new business also had to rely on my strengths as a designer/photographer and my 20yrs experience in advertising. I saw an opportunity to develop an App that combined all these elements as well as fill a niche in the online photo sharing market. I created Picster with the goal ‘to change the way the world shares photos’ by developing a designer album App that would allow people to share albums through social media with family and friends. These albums can help tell a story, whether it is a holiday or an event and not just be a random group of uploaded images. It is my goal to inspire others to get more involved with photography, and I hope that Picster will do this for everyone.
