Todd Heslin - Referron

Todd is an Australian Entrepreneur who started his business life at the age of 15 selling crayfish from his parent’s farm about 2 hours south of Sydney. After a (relatively) short stint of working in the corporate world, Todd wondered why many people don’t care about working on things that matter. In 2008, he co-founded Apathco Group, a boutique Sustainability Advisory practice helping businesses transition into a low carbon economy. Todd’s recent startup, Referron, is a mobile app that empowers the champions of your business to refer their friends to you. Founded in Sydney in 2012, the team has gone through multiple iterations of the minimum viable product, testing different markets to work which types of customers see the best value

Emma Petroulas - Nudge Accounting

Emma Petroulas is co-founder and Client Happiness Director at Nudge Accounting. Nudge is all about giving start-ups and small businesses their numbers each month so they can make better business decisions. A Chartered Accountant, Emma has 10 years’ experience in the accounting industry, her most recent being with Big 4 Accounting Firm KPMG.

When Emma isn’t chatting to start-ups and small businesses, she can be found at The University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) where she lectures in Small Business Accounting.
