Doron Ostrin & Dean Steingold - Productify
Productify was born in June 2012 when co-founder Doron Ostrin was growing tired of the tedious process of sharing product images and descriptions with his companies retailers. He realised this process was a pain point for all wholesalers and retailers, and so Productify was born.
Productify aims to bridge the gap between the current in store archaic methodology and the ever- evolving online space. We do this by allowing distributors (Brand Owners) to upload and curate their product information & then share this with their customers in real-time via online catalogs. Customers are automatically notified of new products or product revisions and can easily export this information in the exact format they require for their website. Further, if they use a common platform such as Shopify, BigCommerce or Magento they can import the items directly without first having to export & subsequently import.
Productify takes care of Products, Pricing, Images, Flyers, Price Lists, Videos, Product Categorys & Productrevisions or history. The current planned next stages are to add a stock controller module to allow all of your drop shippers access to the same stock levels that are then automatically updated & an iPhone app for Reps to have access to all the information on the go.

Katerina Morjanoff - StartNest
Katerina Morjanoff and her co-founders set up StartNest co-working space in just 9 weeks. They had literally a few days to decide to do this – and no million dollar budget or 12 month marketing plan. Just an idea and a few people willing to make something happen.
StartNest is a large shared office, meeting and training area for businesses based on Sydney’s North Shore. Media have described StartNest as “Crisp, modern, sleek, and populated with savvy online business self-starters.â€
Supporting startup businesses is what StartNest does best. More than just an office, it’s about mentoring and providing events to spark inspiration and real world progress. As a startup themselves, they know what you’re going through.
Katerina has a background of over 10 years working with public speakers and event companies. She was also an elite athlete representing Australia overseas and has taken the intense lessons learned through sports, into the startup world.
Top 3 lessons learnt along the way:
- Be present. All the tips and tactics in the world are only what you might do – if you were present.
- It’s all just a game. The point of a game is to have fun. So experiment. Play. Test and measure. Try something on for size and simply see what happens.
- Be kind. Everyone you meet is fighting their own battles. Make it matter.
