Prue MacSween – Verve Communications
A former journalist and radio and TV presenter, Prue has been at the forefront of marketing since 1986.
Her award-winning public relations company, MacSween Communications attracted global brands including British Airways, the Nine, Ten and Seven networks, 2UE, Nestlé, Goodman Fielder; Norwegian Cruise Lines, Inter.Continental Hotels, Citibank and Australia Day Council (NSW) to name but a few.
She is now in partnership with Louise Di Francesco at Verve Communications, a consultancy which provides counsel on crisis and issues management, PR, social media marketing, promotions, media relations and strategic and creative campaign development.
Prue appears regularly on TV and radio as a social commentator.
John Shim and Steve McCarthy – Road Runner Mobile Tyres
After spending 24 years as a Partner at PwC, John Shim joined forces with Steve McCarthy, who was the CEO of Adshel Street Furniture, one of John’s long standing clients to start an exciting new concept in customer service in the Australian tyre retail industry.
Together they created Road Runner Mobile Tyres, an online tyre shop that come to you, 7 days a week.
Road Runner Mobile Tyres will be initially targeting the corporate sector and time poor individuals who want their productive time back. They have a national rollout plan over the next 9 months. They will supply all major tyre brands at competitive prices. They supply, fit, balance and align passenger car, 4WD and light commercial vehicles tyres at your work, home or any place that you can nominate.
Wayne Lazarides – Inkredible Rebranding
Wayne began his career in 1976 at CTC Channel 7, Canberra. His years here were not idle, he moved thorough most production area’s broadening his knowledge and experience. — Cameraman, editor, Promotions Director, Program Director (sports, news, programs, documentaries) and finally as a Commercial Director/Writer.
In 1983 he was invited to join the ACT’s leading creative production house BB&T as agency Producer/Director.
In the following year, BB&T merged with the international agency McCann Erickson. It was during this time Wayne’s creative reputation within the industry developed. He was a leading industry figure and regularly earned a position on the judging panels for the Australian Advertising Awards and MMM media and music awards.
In 1986, Wayne established a new agency, Communication Partners.
Within two years, Communication Partners boasted an extensive government and retail client base.
During his 14 year tenure, Wayne, with business partner Keith Barlin, was instrumental in developing Communication Partners as Canberra’s leading advertising and design agency. He gained personal recognition as the region’s most awarded creative.
In 1998 Wayne moved to Melbourne to establish the specialist brand design agency Me, Myself & I. The business grew to be a recognised graphic design, web and advertising firm.
In 2003, he moved to Sydney and became Creative Director and Principal at Inkredible Art – a Branding and Communications Design agency.
In 2011 Inkredible Art completed its evolution and rebranded to be Inkredible Rebranding.
Today, Wayne continues to be a passionate Brand advocate, building businesses through brand clarity. Inkredible Rebranding continues to evolve under his creative guidance.
