Dana Maray – Speaking with Passion and Humour.
With a passion for connecting through words, Dana Maray draws upon many years experience in stand up comedy and professional speaking to educate, motivate and entertain in the corporate market.
Dana is a keynote speaker and MC and brings warmth, professional ease and humour to any occasion. As a coach and trainer in presentation skills and public speaking, she particularly focuses on authenticity and the power of humour.
Dana was Operations Manager for Contiki holidays and has travelled extensively working as a Tour Guide all over the world. She was a Macleay College and TAFE tourism trainer, training over 500 professional guides in Sydney. She still occasionally manages tour groups of middle aged Americans off cruise ships, which provides her with endless comic material.
But a big part of Dana’s life has not been funny, losing her 23 year old sister to breast cancer, supporting her mother through numerous cancers and dealing with her own breast cancer in her 30′s really tested her funny bone and resilience.
Dana has emceed for the Australian Local Government Women’s Association, Transport NSW, Girl’s Night In for the Cancer Council, WCRA NSW, the Golden Door Health Retreat and as guest speaker and panelist at the Garvan Institute, the annual Chris O’Brien Life house Rugby Long Lunch and Relay for Life.
