The people of Israel renewed their covenant with God. They were reminded of the law God had given to Moses, and were once again coming before God as His people, protected and loved under the covenant. We, too, have been washed clean and made new again from our sin through Jesus. WIth his death on the cross, he cleansed us from our sin and made us white as snow in God’s eyes.
