Many years took place between the story of Cain and Abel in the Bible and Noah and the Flood. In Genesis Chapter 5, we get a glimpse into the early geneology of Jesus' ancestors, beginning with Seth.

Looking at genealogies could get a little tedious, and even boring. But when we dunk ourselves into the details, the stories become more fascinating. Jesus' ancestry was full of sinners, but He was not - He was fully human, fully God, completely perfect to be the Messiah God promised the world.
