Considering that I was almost up to my earlobes in quicksand, I sure had a great time visiting with The Almost Original Synthetic Swamp Grass Jug Band.  They work their magic out of a secluded  duck blind along side a small mountain top pond in north Jersey.  This interview went very well in spite of my horrible sound tech ability.  Trust me these guys sound way better in person than what you hear on this podcast.  I was sitting on the wrong side of a phantom microphone.  This made me sound like I was broadcasting from deep within a root cellar.  We only had time to set up one microphone when multiple mikes were really necessary.  You may not hear the quality of the music but, I heard the concert of a lifetime.  The Swamp Grass Jug Band  will be at The Gap Theater in Wind Gap, PA on Saturday June 28th.  You don’t want to miss this event. They’ll bring plenty of microphones and speakers too.  Some may say I’m wrong on this thought but, I think The Beatles would have really liked these guys and,  would have gladly sat in with them for a jam session.   They probably would have formed a band and gone out into the world as the Swamp Beatles.  I’m not kidding.
