Surpassed only by the atomic bomb, The Halifax Explosion was the largest man made explosion in history... and it was an accident. On December 6, 1917 two boats collided in Halifax Harbour, resulting in nearly 2,000 deaths and an unbelievable amount of destruction. But what chain of events was needed for everything to go this wrong?
