Here reality, you can have a goal without vision. A goal is a risk, maybe you might reach it maybe you won’t. But if you have a vision, it comes from a deeper place, a place that can motivate you when you don’t feel like doing the work. Having a vision is seeing the end result very clearly and having the focus and courage to go through the process and achieving it.

The Risk of not having vision

Living the same year over again
Being reactive than proactive

 
We only have one life, what are you going to do about it?
You can’t accomplish everything.
If you had 3 things you want to accomplish in life, what would they be?
John shares that he wants to:

Help people tell their story
Produce Wealth

The wrong way to Vision Cast
1 - Wrong vision casting is creating an obscure or generalized idea
This idea is nothing revolutionary, it’s biblical
 
“Where there is no vision, the people perish”
Proverbs 29:18
 
“Write my answer plainly on tablets,
   so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.”
Habakkuk 2:2
 
2 - Having the wrong vision puts all the weight on one person
Acts 2 - Peter didn’t bare the weight of the vision
 
How do you create a vision that forces you to work with others?
If you don’t do that, you are excluding the very people you are trying to include

3 - Wrong vision casting equires constant selling
If I need to tell people what the vision over and over again in different ways, then maybe it’s the wrong vision
 
There’s nothing wrong with repeating the principles.
 
If you are coming up with a mission statement for your brand or your business or your instagram bio, and people don’t understand it, you need to reshape it.

How to get clearer Vision?
When you are helping other people accomplish their vision, your vision never stops and never gets tiring.
 
For example:
If your mission is that you want to lose weight. Let’s say you do that this year. Then next year comes then what?
 
If you mission is I want to lose 40lbs then teach others how to do the same. Well, your mission has gotten larger, because you are involving other people and they have their own journey. Ultimately the mission never stops.
 
What is your Million Dollar Message?
Million dollars doesn’t just happen overnight. It is created by process.
Meaning this, what would you prefer.
Me giving you a million dollars?
Or giving you all the tools to make a million dollars?
 
What if I told you if you broke down a million dollars to something more digestible you can get there faster.
 
For Example:
To make a million dollars, you need…

5,000 people to buy a $200 product
2,000 people to buy a $500 product
1,000 people to buy a $1,000 product
500 people to buy a $2,000 product
300 people to buy a $3,333 product
