Four years ago, I left Japan after a three year stint through the JET Program.

It was hard.

I don't think enough people talk about that. Whenever you're entering a new phase in life, whatever "home" you might be leaving, you need to keep your sights set forward.

If you focus on everything that you're leaving behind, you'll only make yourself more miserable. You won't even be living, just existing.

Don't make the same mistake as me.
