How many sweetie pies make up Edmonton's newest record label?

Six.

On this week's episode of Dirt City Limits, we meet two of the musicians behind Sweety Pie Records — Marlaena Moore and Andy Mulcair (of Gender Poutine).

Sweety Pie releases its second effort — Edmonton Volume I, a cassette compilation of local bands — on Thursday, Nov. 19 at Edmonton's newest venue, 9910, located at 9910B 109 St. Chiptune artist Boosh, and rockers Banshee and Versions will perform.

Tickets are $10. Doors open at 9 p.m.
