When it's time to change your life, it's time. Not many of us ever know when that is but it usually comes after an overwhelming sense of pain and frustration, sprinkled with anxiety and depression. There comes a point when the brain just can't handle the negative emotions and in that one moment, the brain is primed to make change. The minute you recognize the need to make a change, your brain starts making new circuits that promote joy and happiness. You have to focus on happiness and seek positive stimuli when everything that you have ever known tells you the opposite. That's why they call it change. Rest assured you can change the circuits of the brain to live a life chock full of powerful positive emotions but it's going to take a lot of consistent work to focus on the things that make you happy in the face of overwhelming odds.
