EPISODE 6: Foot Care in Diabetes | Part 2: Seeing a Podiatrist

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Nelson Maniscalco back in this second episode about diabetes and foot care to discuss the importance of seeing a podiatrist as part of normal diabetes care.
Dr. Maniscalco is a podiatrist with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 3-year surgical residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, training in reconstructive surgery, joint replacement, foot & ankle trauma, fracture management, arthroscopy, wound management and limb salvage. Before coming to Hopkins, Dr. Maniscalco also completed a 1-year fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Luke’s University Health Network.
