God is calling His church out, calling us to be His hands and feet to a world that needs His touch. God is calling our church to be the hands and feet to our world. In this passage of Scripture, I find that it gives us what we need to accomplish just that

People need hope. They look for it each day even if they do not realize it. We have the hope they need and the mercy that comes from God. This passage of Scripture shows you how we can live in the new hope and new mercies from God each day.

Paul's theme in this letter to the Ephesians is the church. Paul is showing the Ephesus church how to be prepared to live for Christ and walk in freedom. This will show us how to have freedom in Him as we serve Him.
